Notes: Armor penalty applies to rolls like move silently or tumble which become more difficult with cumbersome armor.

Characters are slower with medium or heavy armor on.

Martial Melee Weapons

Battle Axe: 1d8. -2 on parry rolls. Useful for chopping apart wooden shields

Great Sword. Large. Two handed weapon. 2d6.

Great Axe. Two handed weapon. 2d6. -2 on parry rolls. Useful for chopping apart wooden shields.

Lance. Large. 2d6. Cannot parry and can only used in a charge attack on horseback.

Long Spear. Extra large. Two handed weapon. 2d6. Can only parry against charge attacks. A successful parry against a charge attack may damage the original attacker if it is high enough to hit armor or flesh.

Long Sword. Medium. 1d8.

Mace. Medium. 1d8. Cannot parry. Causes double damage against armor.

Rapier. Medium. 1d6.

Short Spear. Large. 1d8. Can only parry against charge attacks. A successful parry against a charge attack operates as a counterattack. A successful parry against a charge attack may damage the original attacker if it is high enough to hit armor or flesh.
